Evy Classen-Andrews

Meet Evy, PERFIT People Profile number 7. Find out what makes PERFIT perfect for her and what drives her to train each week.

How long have you been coming along to PERFIT training?

I have been coming to PERFIT training for about 18 months. (Outdoor group training 12 yrs).

What do you get up to outside of the PERFIT world?

When I’m not training I’m looking after my two sons and husband. All three are full time work, but I also work as an Executive Assistant to a Barrister, who happens to also be my husband. My hours are flexible but pretty full on.

What do you enjoy about training?

That is why I love my training. When I started with Kelvin the deal was I continue my Balmoral Beach training. This is my time, to do something for me.

What inspires you to train each week?

I look forward to each session hail, rain or shine. More the shine ones to be honest.
My inspiration comes from the fantastic women I train with. Not only do they keep me well
informed on the latest news and reviews, they show me how important it is to laugh, work hard, and keep meeting the challenge. An extra bonus is the most amazing location. Sun on the water of Sydney Harbour, sand under foot, who could top that?

Do you have any specific goals?

My aim is to stay fit, keep young and keep old age at bay, so that I can keep doing what I have always done, have fun, enjoy friends and keep up with my boys.

How has it affected your everyday life?

Without PERFIT training I don’t feel on top of things. I loose the bounce in my step and the focus to think. I couldn’t imagine not training. I’d feel miserable. Over the past years I have had a couple of major surgeries. If I hadn’t trained, my recovery would never have been as good.

What would you say to someone else considering Group Training?

I recommend group training to anyone who wants to get fit, enjoy doing it and be inspired to find how they can keep improving their personal best.
